The new “Screenshot” is the evolution of a special project by Martino Gamper and Brigitte Niedermair presented for the first time in 2017 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Dedar and curated by Helen Nonini. The conceptual reflection of the creative couple has been brought back to life by Nilufar Gallery, in partnership with Dedar.
The work of art turns into design and takes centre stage – in both functional and aesthetic terms – in an evoking and powerful interior design project. Reinterpreting the art of the minimalist period, the resulting abstract patterns are digitally printed onto high-quality Dedar fabrics and become wall panels and curtains in a dreamlike colour chart that straddles concept and function, art and design.
The fabric used as the base for the panels is Tabularasa, a cotton satin with 100 yarns per centimetre, silky to the touch and very bright, with an extraordinary richness of colour tones.
The new Screenshot is an exclusive collection for Nilufar Gallery, available upon requests.

“With our “Screenshots”, today, past and present find a form, they become a matter of desire to give back and satisfy a new pleasure of living. After all, I believe that making art, but above all living in contact with art and beauty, is the best way to possess one’s own destiny.”
