The warp and weft of an idea

The chevron is an archetype of textile weaving techniques: an essential syllable of visual language - or perhaps, like the song of a bird, a basic element that precedes a language. The weaves draw a design; the structure becomes expression. Upupa accompanies the research of Texturologie in the different dimensions of the texture. It is a sign of extreme simplicity, based on the charm of a repetition that eludes monotony and meets the richness of soft and material yarn.
