The warp and weft of an idea

This silken winged animal is graceful and majestic. It has taken flight from an archive drawing to adopt a new habitat of soft, yet hardwearing lampas, where it intends to stay. In Dedar’s textile interpretation, the oriental motif pays a tribute to the decorations typical of Chinese Coromandel screens that were fashionable in Europe in the XVII and XVIII centuries — and, more recently, also dear to Coco Chanel who used them to adorn her Parisian apartment. The colours of this jacquard recall the nuances of lacquer, precious stones, metals and oriental china.

Upon receipt of the goods, receivers (customer/workroom) are strongly advised to check carefully the state of the packaging and the goods.
