A stroke as assertive as a meteor shower, with that force of gesture that informal art has already drawn from. It is traced by a pigment of chalk-like consistency — a thin yet three-dimensional patina — to spark a new exploration of the heavenly fantasy, cave paintings, Egyptian hieroglyphics. Thanks to traditional screen printing, it is transferred to the matt ground of Millais, a compact Panama weave of British wool and Belgian linen. With its water-repellent treatment, it is suitable for upholstery and decorative applications.
