Lake Como Design Festival 2025
On the occasion of the Lake Como Design Festival, Dedar brings the Weaving Anni Albers exhibition project to the shores of Lake Como, in collaboration with the Josef & Anni Albers Foundation.

After its debut at Torre Velasca during Milan Design Week and its second stop in Copenhagen for 3daysofdesign, Weaving Anni Albers now arrives at Villa del Grumello, an example of neoclassical architecture and an emblematic site in the city's history, deeply connected to manufacturing excellence and Italian textile tradition.
In perfect dialogue with the seventh edition of the Lake Como Design Festival's theme, “Fragments”, Albers' work gains resonance in a new context, celebrating fragmentation as an opportunity for rediscovery, reconnection and reconstruction.
Set against the backdrop of Villa del Grumello, the heart of the event, the group exhibition “Fragments of Memory” guides visitors on an ideal journey through archives and special projects that celebrate the heritage of iconic names in Italian design, historic brands and artists.
In this context, the rediscovery of Albers' works and its contemporary reinterpretation by Dedar take on amplified significance, intertwining with the memory of the place and the spirit of inquiry that drives the festival.
