Inside an 18th-century house in London, Italian designer Martino Gamper presented ‘Before, After & Beyond’, the first full retrospective since the famous ‘100 Chairs in 100 Days’ exhibition in 2007.

The immersive installation is a true transformation of environments: a music and games room, a studio, a living/dining space, a bedroom. Each space celebrates the domestic dimension of Gamper's work, as well as the processes of creation, production and assembly, reflecting his desire to connect people and his interest in the social dimension of furniture.

The full range of the designer's work, from early experiments to brand new pieces, tells the story of his creative personality. Angular furniture covered in a patchwork of laminate and teak, hybrid tables and chairs upholstered with velvet, moiré and wool cloths by Dedar, vases and textural lamps decorate the neoclassical interiors of the house, creating a joyful tapestry of colours, patterns and eras.
