When used for upholstery the pile tends to crush, creating a shading. In order to refresh it, it is advisable to steam and brush. As in all long-haired velvet fabrics, the pile of this article tends to lie in different directions. This characteristic creates irregular streaks that show up at random on the fabric surface. Should staining occur, we recommend dry cleaning only. For routine cleaning the fabric should be regularly vacuumed to prevent dirt from gathering in between the pile. The fabric can also be brushed with a metal or nylon brush. Any sitting marks that appear may be removed by spraying with steam or water. Mohair fibre (like wool) is very elastic and recovers its original shape when damped. It is vital that the fabric is absoluted clean when damped! It should also be dried thoroughly before using it to sit on. Air dry in 24 hours or with a hair dryer set on a low temperature.

Upon receipt of the goods, receivers (customer/workroom) are strongly advised to check carefully the state of the packaging and the goods. If the package is externally damaged, please notify it to the forwarder and on delivery note. Any claims must be notified in a written form with photographic material within 8 days from receipt date. No claims will be accepted for any items that have already been cut, sewn, or made up. Returns must be previously authorized by Dedar.
