Zebras, monkeys, snakes, and toucans find refuge there, observing us from their hideaways, appearing in the embroidered sections of a visual labyrinth. They hold us suspended between the mystery and slight unease of Rousseau le Douanier’s oneiric paintings, from which the colour palette also draws its inspiration. The finest embroidery determines the oblique direction of the five differently coloured threads draw a pattern on the fabric ground of Music. With its flowing drape, this fabric is suitable for curtains and decorative applications.
