The warp and weft of an idea

A jacquard that combines Japanese tradition and subtle splendors, inspired by lightness and sweet wandering. In typical obi belts, clouds are a characteristic motif that find very different translations, between naturalism and stylization. In Lontano Lontano, they are almost the protagonists of a manga that crosses graphics and lightness, with a lively sense of movement. The necessary textile knowledge supports with nonchalance, both the design and the interweaving of four weaves on a satin base. The drawn cloud is superimposed on the ideogram that represents its concept. Between the dimension of the dream and the notes of Luigi Tenco's song, the clouds go, on the line between lightheartedness and nostalgia.
