The warp and weft of an idea

A slight movement gently stirs the rich and detailed drawing, which has Japanese echoes but also looks to the artistic universe of William Morris, inspired by his own sources. We immerse ourselves in nature, letting our gaze float outside among a tangle of wheat spikes, as if we were crossing a wheat field. The interior atmosphere goes beyond the bucolic peace and looks to Ukiyo, the "Floating World" of the Edo period: an approach to life as well as art, between carelessness, a tenuous melancholy and the vocation to savor the pleasure, here and now.
