Flexuous lines in soft velvet, formally reminiscent of 20th century avant-garde art movements, interweave a three-dimensional motif of great impact on a textured and irregular ground. The finishing process brings out the flock of the long-fibred Egyptian makò cotton, confers plumpness to the pattern and an extremely soft touch to the pile, in contrast with the coarser ground.
