A cotton velvet is the Original fabric. Adamo & Eva is also fruit of a process which, in seven meticulous steps, takes the utmost advantage of a 2-ply twisted cotton yarn, devoid of flaws or impurities. The loom engages over nine thousand threads, to produce an extremely dense pile. Metal bristles of varying thickness and stiffness brush the velvet to revive it, when it emerges from the dye bath; they separate and raise the pile repeatedly and patiently, while varying intensity and depth. To create the most comfortable and comforting fabric: like a hand gently caressing a lover’s hair.
